I originally recorded this in New York as a present to my mum and dad for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Wow, 2020!! Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and new year celebrations. I am very excited about this coming year. Lots of gigs, writing new material and recording for new release. I'm happy to be starting my year with a gig at The o2 Academy, Islington on 18th of this month and then the Pizza Express Live, Kings Road, Chelsea on 18th Feb. I am also going to be stateside for some time this year. All in all should be a good one. I hope you all have the best year yet and hope to see you at one of my gigs along the way.

Well firstly I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, here's hoping that 2017 brings you all you wish for! I had such an amazing time in 2016 and want to thank each and every one of you for your support! Reflecting on last year, highlights for me were C2C in London and Glasgow, opening for Ashley Monroe and having the surprise that Miranda Lambert was also performing, The I.O.W Festival, and ending the year with an amazing gig opening for Gabrielle! Not to mention all my trips back and forth to the states to write, play gigs and being creative in the studio! I am back in the studio this week laying down vocals for me new songs that we have been working hard on. Cannot wait for you all to hear it!

So after a great weekend at C2C, I opened up for the amazing Ashley Monroe at Bush Hall in London on Tuesday 15th March. I had such a great time and the audience were incredible! To top it off Miranda Lambert done a surprise appearance and I got to hang out with them after. Here's my pic of the three of us, 'Country girl sandwich', lol!!

So, I have been having an amazing time here in the states over the last few weeks. I spent xmas and new year in New York, my first xmas away from London actually!! I spent around 5 weeks in NYC and then went Miami for a few days (the beach was a.maz.ingggg!!) and then Nashville for a couple of days too. Although it was more of a flying visit than I hoped due to the snow and my flight being cancelled twice but I got there in the end! Now I am back in NYC and there is a lot more snow here than Nashville! I have seen lots of incredible music, had some great meetings and co writes and caught up with lots of friends which is always lovely! And I am super excited to announce that I am playing my first appearance at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC!! It's on Monday 1st Feb and is in stage 1, 12pm!! Plus my friends are playing the same night in stage 2 for a Bowie Tribute! It's gonna be an awesome night. Come out if you are in the area!!

So 2 weeks spent in NYC was amazing and went by so fast, that saying really is true, time flies when your having fun! I got to shoot 2 music video's whilst I was there for 2 of my tracks off the album, which I cannot wait to see and then eventually share with you all.
As I landed in the UK, I turned my phone on to the really exciting news that I was going to open for Striking Matches on there UK tour! Such good news to come back to. It was so much fun!! We played at Union Chapel London, The Fleece Bristol, The Deaf Institute Manchester, Oran Mor Glasgow and The Stables Milton Keynes. Sarah and Justin are amazingly talented and really sweet guys. I cannot wait for them to be back so we can all hang together again.
